Hye I have been suffering with headaches, pain behind my nose and ears for apx 2 yrs now. I get a spaced out head feeling and really tired too. When its real bad my eyes feel so light sensative and it feels like someone is pulling them out, usually by this time I give in at work and go home - get nausea now. I also get tinitus. Then - worse of all - my upper eye lids and brows swell and under eyes and cheeks swell - I look ridiculous and feel like s**t! It takes about a week for the swelling to go down. Doctor thinks its sinus but anti-biotics don't work. Tried sinus wash but no good. Saw ENT who said I didn't present sinus prob as I do not have a runny or stuffy nose. Have had a CT scan done waiting for results. Posting this as going through swelling stage again - last time was end of Sept. Fed up with people asking if I have a hang over - if only! I get out of breath and sleep loads and then I will get better and feel great for about a 4 - 6 weeks and then it happens all over again! Any one else out there with this?????

  • I wrote the original input as fat face. Just to let you know I have found out I have an underactive thyroid which can cause facial swelling.
