I wear contacts, but at the time was not wearing any while I was watching a movie, and my eye suddenly started to hurt very badly when i blinked, similar to when you get an eyelash in your eye. There appeared to be nothing in my eye, so to stop the pain/me crying, I put contacts in and they felt much better. (I was at a friends house at the time and needed a temporary fix). I have gotten stye's before, as well as a corneal ulcer. Since the ulcer, I have never slept in contacts. The pain is similar to that of the ulcer, fine until I close my eye, but very painful to keep it closed. This pain was so sudden, it led me to not believe it was another ulcer, but it may be. I will be going to the eye doctor anyways, just would like some input. Thanks.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
