Strange vision problems

I have recently developed strange vision problems. I often see clouds of smoke, spots and dark flashes, like a light flickering that hasn't. Also I have become far more sensitive to glare.
Oddly enough I have also developed a warm sensation in my fingers and feet...that only last a second.
Has anyone else experienced this. I am been to a doctor, my eyes are fine and the doctor is confused.

Thank you

  • The spots are called floaters and occur when changes happen in the clear gel between the retina and cornea. As you age it can becomes worse. They dance around as you move the eye. The flashes occurs when the retina tears or begins to detach itself. My DR, said that if I begin to see "showers" of these flashes, get to the eye DR. I could go blind. Have had the floaters for 35 years and flashes off & on for 20.
