I went to the eyedoctor last week and he saw 2 spots the first one *the bigger one* over the optic nerve and a smaller one under.
Can it be an inflammation?
I have no idea..
I have these other neurological symptoms like fatique etc but havent been diagnosed with MS because they cannot find it anywhere...:( but my problems remains...

Does anybody know what it can be cause I´ve searched on google but i cannot find someone with similiar spots..

Thanks... //F

  • What are your symptoms? I ask because I've got something semi-similar going on. Hmmm, im not sure if i have any symptoms from this but i´ve lately got sever pain in the eye and sometimes it feels like I have fog in front of me.And they have seen that my blind spot is bigger on the right side so I think that it´s from this spots that i have. What did your spots look like? The first doctor I went to said mine were from birth but the other one I went to said otherwise.Going nuts on this :) I have this image of my eye... makes things easier when I ask around. How did your spots look like?

  • Interestingly, I've got symptoms (looking at amsler grid, just to the right of the dot in the middle I see wavy lines and/or a blank spot) however, I've been to an eye Dr. and Retina specialist. At 1st it appeared that my optic nerve was swollen, which could imply MS so I went through MRI etc to find out all is well there and maybe the nerve isn't swollen afterall. My Macula and eye is "perfect" yet I have this annoying distortion. All blood work comes back normal. No clue. Going to Neuro-Op next (4 months before I can get in tho). Good luck to ya.
