For about a week I have had a spot in my right eye which looks rather like a camera flash. It only happens when I blink or move my eyes. I don't get it when I am outside or watching TV, but I see it when I look at a plain background. I don't see it when I shut my eyes.
I went to the doctors today, she examined my eye and said the fundus looks normal and that it was probably just a floater.
Should I be worried? Are floaters like this? I have had floaters before and they have always been translucent. This is totally different. I am 38 in good health and have no other complaints apart from a stressful life.
Does anyone else have these sort of floaters?
