Seeing some colors as "neon", mild headaches, very strange

I don't know if I know how to explain this but within a short time the past week my vision has been doing some weird things along with a mild headache that constantly acts up, and feeling like there's a slight pressure in and around my eyes and now traveling to the top of my head sometimes too.

A few weeks ago It started out mild, and only acted up whenever I exercised (I'd feel the pressure and see "halos" around bright lights).

Right now whether I exercise or not it looks like everything has a glowing edge to it, and bright colors appear almost neon or florescent. And reading off my computer screen irritates my eyes a lot unless I turn the brightness down.

When it was milder a few days ago I freaked out because I thought my peripheral vision was off because words seemed to disappear next to my focus point whenever I read.

I saw a doctor about it the other day, and an ophthalmologist yesterday and they both checked my eyes inside and out, and I passed all the eye tests, and peripheral vision tests, and couldn't find anything wrong with my eyes themselves. They said it might be a nerve thing and had me make an appointment for a neural-ophthalmologist, but it's a long waiting list (6 weeks) and I'm worried something will get worse before then. :(

Now my side vision seems fine, but looking at bright objects is very weird and white looks "too white" and bright colors seem to glow abnormally but otherwise my vision is fine.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I find it very weird.
