Seeing in purple

The past week I've had a strange thing happen 3 times and I'm wondering if it's something I should be concerned about. It happened twice one morning earlier in the week, and then once this morning.

When I'm waking up in the morning, and doze off and on between snooze on the alarm, right after I wake up after having dozed off and opening my eyes for a second EVERYTHING looks purple. No matter what color things are in the room for a second its almost like seeing in black and white, only its just in shades of purple. It only lasts for a second and then everything goes back to normal.

This has never happened before this week and my left eye has been hurting off and on when pressure is applied for the past month. However, I've been sick with a cold off and on for the last month as well so I thought the eye pain was sinus related. But now with the purple vision thing happening I'm a little concerned that something weird may be going on. Does anyone have any ideas?

Does anyone have any ideas? possibly weak electromagnetic fields The pulsed effects could becoming thru your houses electrical wiring perhaps Wireless technologysare now intertwined with our electrical grids US Patent 6506148 Physiological effects have been observed in a human subject in response to stimulation of the skin with weak electromagnetic fields that are pulsed with certain frequencies near 1/2 Hz or 2.4 Hz, such as to excite a sensory resonance. In these three electric stimulation methods the external electric field is applied predominantly to the head, so that electric currents are induced in the brain in the physical manner governed by electrodynamics. Such currents can be largely avoided by applying the field not to the head, but rather to skin areas away from the head. Certain cutaneous receptors may then be stimulated and they would provide a signal input into the brain along the natural pathways of afferent nerves. It has been found that, indeed, physiological effects can be induced in this manner by very weak electric fields, if they are pulsed with a frequency near 1/2 Hz. The observed effects include ptosis of the eyelids, relaxation, drowziness, the feeling of pressure at a centered spot on the lower edge of the brow, seeing moving patterns of dark purple and greenish yellow with the eyes closed, a tonic smile, a tense feeling in the stomach, sudden loose stool, and sexual excitement, depending on the precise frequency used, and the skin area to which the field is applied. The sharp frequency dependence suggests involvement of a resonance mechanism.

My son went to bed and a few minutes later said that everything he saw was in shades of purple. By morning it had stopped but we took him to the eye drs anyway. They said his eyes were perfectly normal. He does have a stomach virus and we thought it might be related to that. Have a friend that meditates and she said he is seeing through his Third Eye (whatever that means!)

There are some patents that indicate that when weak electromagnetic fields are being pulsed within or near our environments, that supposely produces the color purple Any green/yellow within that purple field?????
