I am a twenty-three year old male. I remember seeing a few floaters as a child. Around the age of eighteen they dramatically blew up. They only seem to be getting worse, I see the floaters and flashing lights 24/7. I can't even begin to count the floaters now. Since they blew up at eighteen I've been to countless opthamologists, and they all say my eyes are young and very healthy looking. I went to an eye disease specialist three months ago. Like usual, my eyes were healthy and my retinas were not detached.
About three weeks ago, I noticed when I go outside and look at anything the sunlight is on, like pavement. I see a clear line of light all the way across my field of vision (not floaters) and I notice it more when I am moving my body. It appears left to right, up and down, and bends at times. I also see several lines all the way across my eyes (again, not floaters, I see those as well) when I look at a blank, white television or computer screen. I just really need answers to why this is happening, it honestly drives me insane and takes so much out of me constantly worrying about all this.
If anyone can give me any answers about this, why it's happening?, what's the worst that can come of this? Is there something seriously wrong with my eyes? Do the lines of light across my vision (not floaters) have anything to do with the floaters and flashers? I could go on all day. I will be fine with accepting this, as long as I get answers. I know people out there have so much worse problems, and I am very thankful for my health. PLEASE, please if anyone can help me with answers to this, to take the anxiety and constant worrying away. I will be forever grateful.
Thank you, Randall from Ga.
