for the last YEAR i have had an incredibly itchy left eye. yes, JUST my left eye!
it started one day while i was driving to work, wearing my contacts. i have had GPC in the past, and assumped that's what it was. i made an appointment to see my eye doctor, and he suspected it was GPC and put me on optive.
it did nothing.
since then, i have tried optivar, erythmiacin ointment, alrex, zatidor, bausch & lomb soothe XP, genteal, restasis..
nothing is working. it's definitely not GPC (as my eye doctor has confirmed), but i still cannot wear contacts. we've also explored the option of me having dry eye syndrome.
it's neither worse or better in the morning or evening. the chronic itch lasts all day long, regardless of what drops or ointment that i use.
what in the world could this be!? i am getting married in two weeks, and all i want is for my eye to stop bothering me & for me to wear contacts again!!
