I was diagnosed with blehparitis a while back, Around my eyes is dark, i have red itchy veiny eyes and i get an occasional bump on my eyelid rim which then gives that gritty feeling as if something is in your eye. I did the lid scrubs + fish pills + systane eye drops for a while, but it never did much for me. So i gave up and just tried to ignore my problem, but it didnt do any good (still using systane).
And my skin is dry so doing eyelid washes really dries my skin and i am not sure what lotion to use as i know different lotions will irritate my eyes more.
So, I was reading on more possible treatments for bleph and ran across one method involving castor oil. Many were saying they were puting the oil directly into their eyes, but some said that was risking an infection. I've read some success stories about people rubbing castor on their eyelids which then resulted in healthier eyelids/ whiter eyes.
I did a search on here but didnt find much about castor oil. Anyone here recommend me rubbing this on my eyelids?
