My 10 year old son has recently started to move his eyes in a random way for no apparent reason. It happens completely randomly, there doesn't seem to be a connection between what he is doing and this occuring. His eyes move up and to the left and I'm not sure he is completely aware of it.
He can be having a conversation with me at dinner and his eyes will suddenly flick up and back again. Sometimes just once but sometimes three times. There doesn't appear to be a pattern.
Our GP thinks he's got into the habit of this and it will eventually stop on it's own but it's freaking me out. We are taking him to see a paediatrician to get a second opinion next week.
Has anyone else had any experience of this type of behaviour? Any advice would be gratefully recieved.
