I don't know if this is floaters or not , but when I lay on my bad and look out the window in the day light and move my eye left to right or right to left ,I see some kinda of small white haze .

This is only when moving my eye left to right or right to left and not just looking at it and only when moving my eye left to right or right to left .

Well I'm 20 and this is going on for 3 months now.

  • Sounds exactly like floaters to me! Almost everyone gets them and they are more easily noticed when looking at the sky or a light background. There is nothing to be concerned about until you have a sudden onset of a "snowstorm" of floaters. This will not be questionable or subtle. As far as your complaint goes, you will learn to ignore them as time goes on.

  • Some times now and than I get try eyes .I can see some kinda of small white haze when I look out the window or at a bright light .The bright light and other less bright acts like a contrast . If its all bright no problem or nothing bright no problem .If I go into the computer room and turn all lights off and the bright LCD monitor is on and a white page background and I move my eye left to right or right to left I see a small kinda haze or lay in bed and look out the window and move my eye left to right or right to left I see a small kinda haze .. But I have to move my eye left to right or right to left to see it.It neets to be very bright like a bright light or blue sky.

  • "snowstorm floaters" are when it looks as though you are driving or walking through a blizzard, unless you live in the tropics this shouldn't be hard to imagine. It's not something that would come on gradually, it would happen all of a sudden and be so distracting that you would not be able to ignore it.

  • What causes floaters and where do they come from? Why is it when you look at bright light or lay in bed and look out the window at the blue sky you see it? After reading the posts in this group people seem to see it when looking out the window or at a bright light. Is it the bright light bouncing of the eye that you see it? Like looking at bright LCD or bright lamp or bright blue sky. Is it because some times I get dry eyes? Why now? And why do some get it but others do not?
