Grey sclera?

It's not very noticeable, but I have had maybe 4 people tell me that the whites of my eyes look a bit blue or grey. Some girl even said it was cool, but I dislike it. It makes my eyes look so dark and lifeless in a way. I asked the doctor and the eye doctor about it and they said it was nothing to worry about. Well, I don't like it, so what could it be? They weren't like this 2-3 years ago.

Only things I can come up with: I stay up late, but I always get enough sleep. I just have a different sleep cycle than most people. And I wear eyeshadow and eyeliner. I've worn different brands during the 3 years, and I always take it off before I sleep. I've even tried not wearing it, and it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Anything I can do about it?
