Can anyone help? For the past year or two I have started to get severely infected eyes, I say `infected` but they do not respond to antibiotic cream or anti hystamin drops. They occur about every 6 weeks, sometimes both eyes sometimes one eye which can be followed by the other a week or so later. They start with a faint red line in the white of the eye, a headache develops shortly after. Over the course of the next few days the white of the eye becomes almost totally red and extremely sore and very sensitive to light. The headaches are over the affected eye. The vision is blurred for several days although clears as the day goes on only to be blurred again the next morning.I have been to the doctor and she suggested it may be something called Ivits (cuse spelling) and has referred me to the eye hospital , that was weeks ago and still no appointment. I am getting quite scared as my eye sight seems to be deteriating, I am an artist and can hardly see close detail now whereas I did just a few months ago. I have chased up the doctor and she is doing her best to bring the appointment forward at the hospital. has anyone experienced this regular pattern of conjuctivitus? If so what happened? Please can anyone help?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
