Hi folks, thanks for any help in advance...
I'm 23, caucasian, female, no chronic health issues aside from mild allergies, but otherwise very healthy.
I've been wearing glasses for about a year and a half.
Friday, developed a haze in my right eye. It's like looking through a very subtle fog, and my eye feels "tired", like I was crying all night is the only way I know how to describe it.
First day I questioned if I was even seeing anything.
I'm prone to migraines, I get one a year usually. It wasn't like a typical migraine aura, but on day 2 that's what I was suspecting. My migraine auras are usually everything looks more intense and light halos. No migraine turned up.
Got concerned, only symptoms that matched were glaucoma or a retinal tear. Went to get my eyes checked, told the lady very specifically my symptoms. She did a very thorough exam, couldn't find anything wrong, but gave me a referral to a specialist anyway and told me to go if it's not normal by the end of the holiday weekend. She also gave me a script significantly stronger than my old script. The new script helped ever so slightly but there's still a fog in my field of vision. My old script was -.75 OD -.50 OS. New script is -1.75OD -1.25 OS.
