Hello! I have some symptoms I've been rather concerned about lately. I'm about to go see an eye doctor, but I'm not even sure if it has anything to do with my eyes.

Anyway, I have been experiencing dots of light that vary in size in my peripheral vision. I've also seen brownish-black smudges in my peripherals. Similar to floaters, but brownish-black... I move my eye to look at them but they turn with my eyes, making trying to look at them clearly futile.

All this has also been accompanied by cold sensations all over my body. Now this Isn't the first time I've felt them. Over the years sometimes I would feel them in the side of my thumbs. But never as frequent or even in the same place, as I have felt in the past month or so. The best way I can describe it is cold water falling on parts of my body. predominantly on the top back of my head, roughly 2-3 in. in diameter. if they occur anywhere else on my body they are usually much smaller, probably a couple centimeters to an inch or two, usually all above my chest line, in my heart, on my arms and shoulders, fingers, or the back of my neck.

Ironically, as i went to see the doctor about all these things, the symptoms have seemed to diminish, but are still there to this day. Not quite as noticeable though. My doctor basically brushed me off and told me these cold sensations were simply "Nerves and neurons misfiring" and suggested to see an eye doctor about my eye symptoms.

I've schedulued an appointment with an eye doctor.
But all these symptoms seem to make me think something is wrong with my nervous system!! What the ***l do I do?

I'm 17 years old by the way. :(
