I keep having a spasm in the outer area of my left upper eyelid, it feels like it is paralyzed for a few moments. Sometimes I have to rub my eye to make it go away. Sometimes if I accidentally touch my eye it will spasm up as if in reaction to me touching the eyelid. Headaches are increasingly worse as this happens more and more. When it started a couple weeks ago it was only once in a while, now my eyelid "freezes up" at least 20 times a day.
Myasthenia gravis runs in the family, and someone mentioned this could be the cause, while others have said it is probably just stress... any input would be appreciated. I am uninsured and cannot afford a doc visit, if this is simply stress induced then I will wait it out if possible. If there is cause for concern then I will have to work some overtime.
