I have a friend who needs help asap. She has been experiencing severe eye pain while sleeping. This wakes her up, and makes her bolt out of bed. Upon awakening, she says it feels like her eyes/eye muscles are frozen. She is disoriented/confused also. She was given topamax until hightest dose. She is still getting the pain. Has anyone else experienced this sort of thing. The topamax had weird effects. Her speech was slurred, and memory is a problem. Doctors are taking her off this. MRI and MRA scheduled. These attacks came on suddenly. Help appreciated.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
