eye dilation

Had a cataract removed and replaced with the crystallen type lens. Did not position properly and had to be removed. Was replaced with the standard IOL lens on Aug. 10. Have very little sight in the eye and is still totally dilated in a oblong shape. Doctor now wants to put a stitch in each side of the iris to reduce the dilation but it will be a fixed dilation for ever. Sure could use some input if anyone out there has experience with this condition. Thanks
