Hi, I am a 41 year old male.

Could anybody explain what these symptoms are? My vision is very dim, and very sensitive to light, and I have night blindness. It feels a bit like I am concussed and I have continual tinnitus. Other symptoms are tunnell vision and vertigo, which I never used to have. I have also noticed that my eyes are very sensitive towards fluoresent light, which makes me feel dizzy when exposed to it. For over 1 year now, I have had these symptoms, even though I went to an opthalmologist, everything was fine when he did the tests, except for a slight stigma in my left eye, and prescribed reading glasses for slight changes.

This has had a huge impact on my life, as I used to be very sociable, now I don't like to go out after sunset, as all evening light is very dimmed which makes me feel very uncomfortable.

My doctor referred me to a psychologist, and they diagnosed me with clinical depression. The only problem is, is these vision symptoms are causing my depression, as I am so terribly anxious about it!

I have also done other tests for diabetes and thyroid which all show up to be fine.

I hope there is somebody out there that can give some indication on what this is all about, as I am very desperate.

As i have been diagnosed with depersonalisation, which is directly related 2 the limbic nervous system. It was induced by a massive panic attack one yr prior.
