6 months ago, I noticed that one of my eyes (right) had bulged out badly and I went to the doctor. They took a blood sample and mentioned that I had graves disease. But I have not had weight loss at all.
I was asked to have my thyroid gland removed using Radio active Iodine and I denied that option.
The eye sometimes looks very normal and sometimes bad. The eye is not always bulged out like how it is. I'm really confused and I do not want my thyroid gland to be removed if the diagnosis was wrong.
Can you please let me know if this could be something else and/or give me other options (doctors/specialists) to consult with?
