I have had a blurred right eye for about 5 months now. It seems to be more affected by sunlight, as sometimes I have to cover my blurred eye just to get a clear picture of a street sign while driving. My vision is 20/20 and I've been to an optometrist and a well respected opthamologist in recent weeks who say I have healthy eyes and they can't understand why my eye is blurry. I've tried lubricant eye drops to no avail. Ironically, this all started when I got my new IMAC computer that has an enormous screen, very bright. I spend a lot of time on the computer so I wonder if I have severe eye strain from the glare of this computer?? Can that cause damage to the cornea (much like looking at the sun?). The blurriness is there every day and only in my right eye. In the dark room of a doctor's examining room, I seemed to pass the eye chart tests with flying colors. I KNOw if they had been given outside in the sunlight, I would have given them a better sense of what I'm going through. It is very annoying and I can't stand being the "mystery patient". I'm not sure my insurance will cover the cost of a 2nd opinion with another opthamologist. PErhaps I need to see my primary care doctor and get a referral for a neurologist?? ugh. I am 40 yrs. old by the way.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
