I've had occasional bouts of blurred vision and dizziness for about 5 years. In the last 2 years it's gotten steadily worse in that it is now almost constant. No pain, just bad blurry vision and now some blind spots--not dark just unable to see shapes at all. This is like Mystery Diagnosis, I've been to nerologists, optometrists, ophthamologists, internists; I've had MRI, CAT scan, been checked for arterial blockage even been given anti-depressants. The last opthamologist I saw this week says 'toxic amblyopia' but I haven't been exposed to toxins, I don't drink, I smoke about a pack a week and as far as I know I have no vitamin difficiencies. I'm not diabetic, my blood pressure is well-controlled by medication, no thyroid issues or anything other physical problems--and I have 20/20 vision--but I can't get rid of the blurriness! Am I the only one with this problem? I can't 'just 'live with it', I can't drive! I haven't been able to work! HELP!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
