First off - I'm 29 years old, and I take Armour for my hypothyroidism. My symptoms are pretty well under control, although I may be still be slightly hypo. I have no other known health issues.
In the last few months, I've noticed occasional blurring of my central vision. I first noticed it just before Christmas. We gave our daughter a Bible for Christmas, and as I was trying to write her name in it, the lines kept disappearing. When I moved my eyes, I could see the line for a fraction of a second and then it would disappear.
Since then, I've had similar problems off and on. Today it's lasted for over an hour, and I have a very mild headache. This is making it quite difficult to care for my 3 young children, not to mention the fact that it's a bit scary. :) Fortunately I don't have to drive anywhere today.
I know some will suggest a visit with an opthalmologist, but that's not possible at the moment. Right now, I want to know some possible conditions so I can start researching stuff on my own. I don't trust doctors - so if I'm going to one for tests, I want to know beforehand what might be wrong.
Thanks for any help!
