Thanks a lot for reading and please bare with my poor English.
My 6 yrs old son, had outgrown most of his food allegies. He still gets mild
skin irritation, itchy tongue when he eats eggs, itchy nose. He has mild
asthma and it's still on Seretide Evohaler 25/125 for 6 months. He takes 2
puffs at night before sleep. He takes nasal spray for his itchy nose.
ITCHY EYES AND WHITE SLIMY DISCHARGE
he has been having itchy eyes and white slimy discharge esp in the mornings and evenings(worse when he is sleepy and tired)for over a year now.
His allergy specialist doctor said it happens due to his blocked sai-nesses (sorry cant spell) and has given him Arius (syrup medication) 5 mls every 2nd night for past few months. It helped at first but his condition is bad again.
Doctor also said it's due to allergic reaction to chlorine as he swims in the pool a few times a week, he tries to keep his goggles on all the time but pool water still get into his eyes.
Q: should we give him eye-drop but none of the over the counter ones have seemed to help.
I am very worried and feel helpless since his condition improved for a while but got worse again...
Thanks a lot for listening. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
