  • I wish I read your post in here before I did mine in a different forum I guess? Anyway...I am 34 yrs old. In the last 8 months or so, I have been having headaches EVERYDAY, my blood pressure has been up and I get these "sweating" episodes that last for an hour. My Dr. took blood in Oct 06 and my NOREPINEPHRINE level was 600. Supposed to be 0 - 399. Suggessted I do 24 hour urine. Some vma level in that came back high. It is apparent that I have PHEOCHROMOCYTOMA a tumor on my adrenal gland. I am a wreck! My mom was diagnosed with cancer at 55 and one of her tumors was on her adrenal gland! Maybe look into this condition. Sounds like this might be what you are looking for. Most of the websites I've looked at said that there is only a 10% chance of malignancy, that these tumors are rare and that sometimes they are genetic. One site also said that the tumors can move to other glands...such as thyroid. Do you get sweats? Blood pressure up? Headaches? My great insurance CO. will not cover a PET scan but are trying to get a CT scan covered. Please let me know how you are. It helps to know someone else out there sorta understands. I wish you much luck.......God Bless
