The doc says I have had hyper for about 2 years. my symptoms are the same as hypo. Weightgain (lots) about 30lbs and other symptoms. has anyone had the same problems? has anyone tried natural herbs to help with this? The doc wants me back every 30 days. This is starting to cost lots of money and i feel like he is doing this for that purpose.

  • Since your doctor says you have had this condition for 2 years, I am assuming that he ran Thyroid function tests 2 years ago to prove this. In the 2 years, what treatment has he given you? What were your initial Thyroid test results? It is not normal to go back monthly for thyroid tests unless he does not know what he is doing? An endocrinologist would be a better option because thyroid problems can be very complex and co-exist with many other undiagnosed conditions. Maybe he wants you back monthly because he is perplexed? Back to my question, what were your initial thyroid test results, and what treatment did he give you? Without this info. it is impossible to try to help.
