hi, i have been diagnosed last feb for having diffuse toxic goiter...my tsh before was 0.08 and now it 0.02..so i think it got worst..but ny t4 has become normal..before it wast 70 plus but now it's normal...why did the tsh worsen?i was wondering? im taking carbimazole as of the moment...10mg a day...and i was concerned if there are foods that im not allowed to eat??coz my dr told me that im allowed everything..but i just have to avoid seaweeds.. and those that have iodine?? i was under the impression that i hve to take up iodine bcoz having goiter has something to do with lack of intake of iodine..

could you pls enlighten me with this..tnx..and also could u pls tell me what foods to eat and what not to eat??as of the moment i think im so hyperthyroid and im not sure about my toxic goiter if it's improving or what...
i just make sure to follow medicine intake..

and also lately i've been having pain in my eyes and i still have hand tremors and slightly nervous but unlike before it has lessened... coz i work infront of a computer 8hours a day..so what should i do about this??i cant verywell quit my job now..i need badly...

if there something you could advise me to improve my condition i'd be very glad..tanx

  • Your TSH actually got better, not worse.Your best book is to get the book, The Thyroid Solution. It is written by an endocrinologist. It's quite informative and has all the foods to avoid or limit plus so much more. You should probably find a good ophthalmologist who is versed in hypo/hyperthyroidism.Ideally you need a primary doctor, an endo, and an ophthalmologist, at least.
