I am 69 years of age , generally healthy despite arthritis. Exercise regularly, hypertension and high cholesterol controlled with medication. Recently I have lost weight (over one stone in last year) have brittle nails, my hair grows very slowly, muscle weakness, experience tiredness (maybe my age!) always on the go, have 'restless legs in the evening. My GP suggested I may have thyroid problems but a blood test showed I am the picture of health. GP had no explanation for my symptoms. Help!!
