I am considering seeing an endocrinologist soon but need some advice first:
During my last routine physical with PCP, the following came back in my test results:
My TSH 3rd Generation reads 6.03 (when normal is .04 - 4.50) I dont know the rest of my numbers off hand but my dr. said these werent bad and I should come back in 6 months for another blood test. However I feel that is long to wait and may see someone sooner.
Ok - here are my symptons, I have had these most of my life but never thought anything of it! I am 30 yrs old.
-Intolerance to cold (seems to be getting worse as I am older)
-Low body temperature - 96-97 degrees F
-Long and heavy mentrual periods (the heavyness has gotten BAD recently)
-Raynauds Disease - fingers and toes turn white in the cold but this has lessened as I cut out caffeine
-Hair Loss - I have a huge head of hair and everyone says I still have a lot of hair but I think I lose alot and not sure what is normal
- Mitro Valve Prolapse (MVP) - irregular heartbeats
-Short-term memory seems to be bad but not sure
-Always tired in the mornings even after 7-8 hrs of sleep. But have enough energy throughout the day and work out regularly
-Constipation - if I eat right (ie lots of fiber and veggies) I notice this goes away
- Skin is not overly dry
- Libido is ok
- no depression but am irritable sometimes mostly when nagged
Also not sure if this is important but had a bad case of mono (diagnosed with Epstein Bar at age 12 and had two relapses) - 2nd relapse was bad and caused a string of other health issues, chronic tonsilitis for 1+ yr, erythema nodosum (bumps on legs), etc.

Constipation is a common side effect of opioid and narcotic pain medicines.
Is it sensitive skin or something else?
