can someone please help? my daughter is 21 months old. she was always a normal weight (6.10 at birth) until february. she went to Disney world with my sister for 8 days, she was 20 lbs when she left and 23 when she came back. since then she has doubled in weight. she was 35 lbs in may and now she is at least 43 lbs. she is not even 2 and i have to dress her in 3T/4T clothes. Her doctor says it is a growth spurt and her body will catch up with the weight gain. the only tests he has ran is a CBC, Iron Profile, and TSH. Thyroid and CBC came back ok but she is anemic. he says it is from the sudden weight gain. He tells me to cut back on her milk and juice and what she eats. I keep trying but if i cut back anymore, she is gonna starve! she drinks 1 8oz cup of milk a day and 1-2 6oz cups of juice (50/50 water and juice). rest of the time she drinks water, sometimes flavored water. she does not eat or snack excessively. she eats usually a scrambled egg and piece of toast for breakfast and rest of the day she eat gerber graduates items. some days she only eats once or twice and i cant get her to eat anymore. im so aggravated i cant stand it! i cant seem to get any help with this. all i hear is how fat my kid is and i need to cut back on her food/drinks. does anyone have any idea what i can do?? please??? it can't be a normal thing!!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
