I had tendon's repaired in right elbow. Cortisone shot in left. This is about 10 months later, I thought I had a bone growing inward on my left elbow. After having x-rayed and looked at I am told to get a biopsy. Elbow is fine. However all the muscle/fat/tissue that surrounds the elbow has been eaten away leaving the elbow with no protection. Any idea's on what has eaten away all the tissue around the joint.

  • It was probably from the cortisone injection. Thats what it does. It is a temporary fix and it destroys. Thats why you should only ever get three. And if you had one you know it hurts like ***l and you dont go back for another. I have had 2 in my elbow for tennis elbow (supposedly) But now they think I have radial tunnel. I can not find anyone who has had this. Sorry!! I hope you get better.
