I have to have surgery on my (swallow Test confirmed) large Zenker's as it is causing recurrent aspirating pneumonia.
My question is which is the best procedure - 1) Traditional surgery through the neck; 2) Laser (CO2) Surgery OR 3) Stapling through the mouth (eg The Duke Developed Procedure or others).
The other issue is - Living in Rural New England, who in the area (NorthEast US) is the person or institution that has the most experience in doing these procedures?
