hi all,
on tuesday I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with a blockage in my parotid gland. the doctor said it was infected and gave me 500 milligrams of cephalexin(sp?) to take 4 times a day . he said I need to get the infection cleared up and either that would be that or I have a tumor ( yikes!!!!) but if there was a tumor either way the infection had to be cleared up before we do anything further . so I have been taking the meds just like I should I don't see any difference. does it take longer. would I see a difference of would it still be swollen . am I just impatient. thanks

  • I've never had to deal with it, but would think that you'd have to wait it out and then go through the tests. How are you feeling now? The doc might put you on another course of meds. Is it painful? k
