At dinner, my friend suddenly found himself unable to swallow his steak. He said that is started as just a difficulty and then progressed to practically choking. At about the same time that the choking sensation began, he vomited. When he thought he was done, he tried to take a drink only finding himself unable to swallow that as well. For about ten minutes, he felt a gurgling in his throat and continued to belch and vomit bits of food that he had just eaten. This cannot be normal and it is scaring me to death. Please advise- what should he do?
