Hello WD community,
About 3 weeks ago, I got a cold - not to bad in cold standards, but and awful sore throat. It wasn't a typical 'sore' throat though, just one that made it very painful to swallow. I'd had this before, and been given antibiotics, once the infection had spread to my ear.
This time though, I went to the doctor, and was told that it was a virus, because my throat was clean, but my throat membrane was swollen, and that yes indeed, my tonsil were swollen. After about a week, it disappeared. But for the past 2 weeks, every 4ish days, it comes back (milder), and my right tonsil is still enlarged.
It very strange though, because the other days I feel nothing at all! I get no fevers, no generally feeling ill, just pain on one side of my throat!
If it helps, I'm 19.
