Tongue numbness 2 weeks post extraction - help

My tongue went numb 2 days - just 2-3 weeks after an upper wisdom tooth was removed. The dentist insists it's unusual, but here we are - numb.

It feels like novacaine, but the twist is that a week ago i woke up stuttering twice. People are suggesting it was a mini stroke.

Anyone else have this?
