I have been dealing with this for the last two months, and I thought I would post here and see if anyone else experiences this. I feel like there is a ball stuck in my throat all the time it seems :(
It feels like mucus sometimes, and then other times it feels solid. I recently started having this problem swallowing on and off. There are times I can only drink liquids because it feels like solids get stuck in my throat. It usually gets worse at night. It really scares me because there are times it feels itchy and more tight than usual and the only things that provide some relief are life saves and gum. I feel like I'm swallowing to loudly when I do swallow...
There are sometimes I have problems swallowing saliva.. I went to my doctor and both times he prescribed me a z-pack and suggested I take singular. The singular makes me very sleepy and doesn't help much. I am taking prilosec otc at the moment and it has helped with the acid in my stomach, but the throat tightness continues.
I have an appointment with a gastroenterologist this friday, and I am just really worried about this.
If anyone has any information or advice please help me
