I was sick about a month and a half ago and put on a Z-Pak (standard fever, sinus infection etc.) About 3 weeks later I noticed red spots on the roof of my mouth. Now I had had unprotected oral sex just the week before and was worried. I consulted a doctor who said it did not look like anything to worry about.
The red spots went away and now I just have very small granular bumps (small but there is alot of them!) on the roof of my mouth. I also have red, swollen tonsils. I consulted another doctor who did not think there was anything out of the ordinary. I was put on amoxcillin just to try and clear up the remaining tonsil problems but I only have 2 days left and am unsure of the progress.
I also realize that if I focus on the problem, it most likely won't go away but I am under alot of stress and this is not helping. I also have noticed that I have been clenching my jaw when I sleep.
I have heard from two doctors that it is nothing out of the ordinary but I am just a little afraid...I am pretty sure it is not herpes related but I am a little worried about HPV? But I have heard there are either no symptoms or warts (these are just plain small bumps).
