Swollen Glands + Sore Throat

I have been struggling with acid reflux problems earlier last week. then when that turned into acid reflux during my sleep i started to notice that i'd wake up with a sore throat. i got sick of that so i got some prevacid from the store when i noticed that the acid upchucking into my mouth when i sleep is causing me to get swollen glands (left and right side but now it is only my left top near the ear side of my throat) and a sore throat that wont quit and hurts when i swallow. i'm sick of dealing with this. i take tons of advil during the day to keep the swelling down and help the pain (at least i think it does) i drink some throat coat tea with echinasia and honey and stuff in it. and i drink tons of water and eat tons of soup. i've stopped drinking cows milk so there is very little mucus. but i notice recently that i have alot of spit production. not only that but with some wiki and google searches. i have no idea why my glands are still swollen. i have NO fever or other symptoms besides the left top gland of my neck is swollen and that i have a sore throat from it. i told my parents that i'd go to a doctor once i got a fever, because i think at this point all i need is time to get better because im a quite healthy 21 year old man. but i want some opinions from you guys.
