I've had persistent swelling under my tongue for a week and two days now. In addition to that, last night I got a "choking" feeling but I could swallow and breathe just fine. When I put my head down, it feels like I'm trying to squeeze a workout ball between my chin and chest. It feels very strange and tight. I also felt like I had a lump in my throat, and that seemed to be brought on by a cucumber salad I ate (I finished it off this morning and got the same feeling again).
I've had a sour taste in my mouth for a couple of weeks now as well. It seems strongest when I eat something sweet or pop a piece of gum after drinking coffee.
If anyone has any idea as to what may be causing this, or any advice on how to alleviate it, I would greatly appreciate it. There is no pain, but it's definitely uncomfortable. Thanks again
