Stuffy nose won't go away!

So a few months ago I came down with a cold. It was nothing bad and went away in about a week but after all the other symptoms went away, I still had a stuffy runny nose. It has been a few months and I still have this. I am not in pain, no headaches, no sore throat or anything like that. Just a constant runny, stuffy nose. It itches a lot too. Sometimes in places i can reach and sometimes in places I can't. This goes on all day everyday. It gets better when I'm at work but I still sneeze a lot and have a bit of a drippy nose. It seems like it's worse when I am laying or sitting down oand when I first wake up in the morning. Right after I wake up I sneeze like 2-4 times (often in a row) and when I blow my nose the mucous is like a dark yellow color. This is only when I first wake up. As the day goes on it's like clear. When I am standing up and/or walking around I'm fine most of the time. A few days ago I started using a Neti pot. I've used it about 6 times. A few times the fluid would not drain out of the other end of my nose but today it did. Right after I used it I took a shower and went to work and I was fine all day at work. It was the first day in months that I got through a work day without any stuffiness, drippyness, or sneezing. But after work when I was waiting for my ride outside I sneezed twice and by the time I was home things were back to normal. I was stuffy, runny, and drippy again. I don't know what this is but I want it to go away! I'm tired of carrying around tissues and checking my nose constantly to make sure I don't have boogers or crust and not being able to breathe through my nose.

  • Hopefully this is better by now. But if nothing has changed, it could be rhinitishttp://www.wrongdiagnosis.com/r/rhinitis/intro.htm
