About 4 or 5 days ago I started getting a sore throat. I have no other major symptoms other then headache and stuffed up nose, but I'm worried because it hasn't gone away yet. I don't have a high fever, although my temperature is about 99.1 or so which is above normal. Most of the pain seems to be up high in my throat (I can't really describe it... it feels almost like it's the place where my nose drains into my pharynx, just behind my mouth) and just above my larynx. I've had a normal appetite and I've been attending school because even though I haven't been feeling great, I've felt well enough to function normally. Strep throat is going around, and I need an opinion as to whether this these symptoms match the symptoms of strep, or whether it's just a virus. And if it is a virus, is there anything I could do to make it go away faster/ get rid of the pain?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
