About a month ago I had an abscessed tooth fixed with a root canal which had went untreated for about 4 or 5 months. About a week or so after I had the root canal done I noticed that my lymph nodes were swollen on the left side of my neck, directly below my jaw. This was the opposite side of the root canal. I never had felt my lymph nodes before, so I didn't know exactly how swollen they were but I did know that something wasn't right. I went to the dr. who said that my left lymph node must be infected, and we did a round of antibiotics. After two weeks it has gone done some (both are still swollen and left side just a little more). I had looked inside my mouth 100 times, and didn't find any sores or lesions or anything abnormal. It has been about a month. Yesterday, I found a sore right behind my tonsil on the left side. I know it hasn't been there long or I would have noticed it. At times I feel like I have something in my throat, but when I take Benadryl it seems to help. It isn't everyday that I feel it, and when I am very anxious I can notice it more. I am posting some pictures, to see anyone knows what it could possibly be. I am going to make an appointment with the ENT this week. My ears are also popping, like when you are on an airplane. I am very very freaked out! Thanks! :(:(:(Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
