I was off ill on wednesday with a slight tickly throat. I came back to school on Thursday to find that the road outside was being resurfaced. Now ever since then my throat has been getting sore and by Saturday (yesterday) my throat wasn't sore but my voice had became very hoarse and It didn't get any beter If I cleared my throat. It's slightly better now but still not fully better, and I'm only panicking because I have my GCSE French Speaking exam tomorrow!
Could it have been caused by the tarmac fumes or the furmes from the line painter by any chance? Seeing as I used to get periods of nasty coughing fits 10 times day from irritation in my throat from where my mum smokes around me ...
