I was on antibiotics for a week for a throat infection and congestion. I couldn't talk without whispering. Layrengitis. Now my tongue is red, smooth, and burns a little. I called the doctor, and he said everything should return to normal. I have read that pernicious anemia (spell?) could be the cause of a smooth red tongue. The doctor didn't coment. Wonder why my tongue is red...never had this before.:mad:Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
