Hi, I've been to my family practitioner at least 4 times this year and have possibly been on every antibiotic known to man and nothing helps. Here are my symptoms: Dry throat (feels like I can't get enough water)/sometimes congested throat and chest (feels like I can't breathe), face hurts around cheeks and eyes and nose (can't think most days), extreme fatigue, dark circles under eyes, stuffy nose, dry chest, hot flashes (feels like face is on fire all of a sudden and heart palpitations), and my neck hurts and sometimes it feels like little spiders crawling up the back of my head (tingly sensations). I had an ECG done and my heart is fine and my blood pressure is actually slightly lower than normal. I take OTC advil cold and sinus which temporarily helps the headache but makes the dryness worse. I get relief from the facial/nose pressure if I take a hot shower, chew peppermint gum, or eat spicey foods (causes me to cough up phlegm), but it's temporary, and my ears sometimes feel like they're draining. He diagnosed me with sinus problems three times then with allergies and anxiety disorder this last time. I don't know what to believe now. Does anyone else have these problems?? Do you know what it is?? Please help, I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired.

  • Take your temperature every morning, at about 4pm and in the evening near bedtime every day. If you feel your face is hot, take your temperature. Sounds like you have a low grade fever. Once you have that information, call your doctor and see if they'll refer you to an Infectious Disease Specialist.
