i'm a 16 year old male, and for a while now, i've noticed a dull, reddish color in my saliva. to explain the color more accurately, it's a combination of red, brown and a little orange. the saliva itself is mostly spit that just has a dull, reddish hue to it. this has been happening for a few months now (i can't exactly pinpoint when it started happening, sorry). this only happens sometimes, like for 10 minutes, there'll be redness in the saliva, and then for somewhere around 20-40 minutes, it'll go back to the normal liquid color. also, i've been feeling a slight sore throat as well. this just started happening today, and the level of pain hasn't changed. a lot of other people who have similar symptoms seem to say that they have trouble or it's painful to swallow or yawn. i haven't had any trouble swallowing or yawning in any way. the pain isn't exactly hindering my abilities to do anything, it's just concerning me. i haven't had any major medical problems that i can remember (other than spraining my leg a few years ago), but i have a HUGE anxiety attacks, and they aren't helping my concern for these problems. PLEASE help and ease my stressReply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
