Pain in throat for 6 months

I am 30 years old, non smoker.
I have been having pain in my throat for 6 months now .

2 ENTS have done laryngoscopy(directly visualizing the throat from inside) and said that everything looks fine to them.

I requested my current ENT to get a CT Scan of my throat, as i thought it would be able to show any serious problem with it.

The results came , and the CT Scan , says no definite mass is seen , but a slight minimal asymmetry is seen in hypo pharynx, mass can not be excluded , direct visualization suggested.

I already had 2 direct visualizations. I am really feeling too tensed now,
wanted to get the CTScan , so that i could continue my life with the pain in my throat. But the CTScan did not clear up anything.

It also said that my lymph node is swolled (14mm) , a biopsy may be required to further evaluate.Lymph node is swollen in any infection, allergy, inflammation.

Please suggest with your experiences? My ENT wants to do a Trans Nasal Esophaguscopy, as he thinks the culprit is GERD,

It all started with a fever (like a viral) ,There is still inflammation in my sinus,
