My 11yr old neice recently had surgery on her hand. The surgery was 2 hrs longs. Ever since she woke up from surgery the tip of her tongue has been numb. She said it feels like it does when the dentist numbs it.
It has been 3 days since her surgery and she still has numbness. Her doctor has no idea why it's numbe and said to just give it a few days...
Does anyone know what could be causing this? Many thanks in advance for feedback!!
